I’m Jistien, your friendly neighborhood pet sitter in Cooper City. Animals hold a special place in my heart, and I’ve been fortunate to have them as companions throughout my life. Currently, I have two adorable dogs and three lovely cats. My furry family ranges in age, with the oldest being around 15 years and the youngest around 5. Among my cats, the eldest is a wise 17 years old, while the other two are playful three-year-old brothers.

I have hands-on experience in many aspects of pet care, including walking, feeding, playing, and ensuring overall well-being. I’ve faced some unique challenges, such as caring for a diabetic cat, raising a newborn kitten from day one, and managing a cat with bladder issues (who is thankfully much better now with special food). I’ve also helped friends and family by dog sitting on several occasions, deepening my love for all pets.

Currently, I’m pursuing my dream of becoming a veterinarian, which allows me to continuously expand my knowledge of pet health and well-being. As your pet sitter in Cooper City, your furry friend’s safety and happiness will always be my top priority.

Hi, my name is Katie, and I offer daily dog walking and pet sitting in Cooper City, Davie, Hollywood, and other surrounding communities within a 10-mile radius. Growing up next to a small farm in Connecticut, I’ve always been surrounded by animals, which sparked my lifelong love for pets. My childhood was filled with a range of furry companions, from hamsters to our lovable Black Lab, Trooper, who was famously afraid of water despite being a Labrador! She was a cherished member of our family and the reason my passion for dogs began.

As an adult, I met my husband, and together we cared for his Golden Retriever, Obi, who became our silly baby boy. We also adopted four cats—Maui, Miko, Lilo, and Ellie—each with their own unique personalities. Over the years, we’ve enjoyed a busy household, and now we share our lives with our two Huskies, Jaxson and Gemma, who keep us entertained with their playful and vocal antics.

From a young age, I’ve always had a passion for animals. Growing up in Canada, I couldn’t have cats or dogs due to my father’s allergies, so I surrounded myself with turtles, fish, lizards, and birds. My love for animals led me to volunteer at the S.P.C.A. in Montreal for over 8 years, where I walked dogs, helped with adoptions, and cared for cats and birds. Being around animals has always brought me happiness.
