Dog walking services in West Palm Beach, FL
My name is Jim and I offer dog walking services in West Palm Beach. I am a marine biologist and former Curator of Fish for Sea World in Orlando. I was in charge of displays, collecting, and research. I was also in charge of SeaWorld’s Shark Research Institute in Long Key, FL. We worked closely with National Geographic in the late ’70’s making documentaries about Sharks. They were so popular, it was expanded into what is now Shark Week! I also taught night classes in marine biology on the College level for 5 years while working at SeaWorld. I then accepted a position as Director and Curator of Coral World (a public aquarium & research facility) in St. Thomas, U.S.V.I. for 5 years. I traveled extensively throughout the Caribbean and I have thousands of hours of SCUBA and underwater photography. I also have a 50-ton Open Ocean Captain’s license. I moved back to the States where I started successful businesses. Decorative Aquarium Systems where we build, maintain, and provide fish for Large Custom Aquariums. And Atlantic Resources, where we produce educational Marine Life Software. I love All animals! I grew up with a Golden Retriever that lived to be 21! (He passed away in the Virgin Islands, but I brought him back to rest…sleep.) I had a very handsome and loyal 125 lb. German Shepherd that lived to be 17…No hip issues! And many other dogs and cats, All living to be at least 17 or 18! Included in my pets were birds, ferrets, lizards, skunks…(yes, I had a skunk, hasn’t everyone had a pet skunk?)…and, of course, Fish! So yes, I am an animal person. But also a people person! I get along with pretty much anybody. It is simple: treat others like you would like to be treated. I am looking forward to offering you and your animals excellent pet-sitting and dog-walking services in West Palm Beach, FL.
