Dog Walking in Coral Springs, FL
Hello! My name is Edwin Velasquez.
I was born in Colombia but have lived in Florida for most of my life. I studied Environmental Science at Florida Atlantic University, but have recently switched to a Biology concentration. Though I haven’t always known what career I wanted to pursue, I’ve always known that I’m meant to work with animals. Every job I’ve had has been related to animal care, from working at Pet Supermarket to working as a kennel attendant at a VCA Animal Hospital, but my first experience was volunteering at the Coral Springs Humane Unit in my last two years of high school.
At home I have had animals all my life, starting with two schnauzers. Currently, I have a yorkie named Snoopy and a cat named Frankie. Aside from having dogs and cats throughout my life, I also have experience working with exotic animals. I have a green-cheeked conure named Ody, as well as 5 snakes, 3 frogs, and some tarantulas and scorpions as well. In the past, I’ve also kept rodents, lizards, and fish.
I am passionate about animals of all sizes and species, and look forward to meeting you and your pets!
