Despite people telling me I was crazy to bring them with me, I couldn’t do otherwise—they are my family, and you cannot betray your family. It was difficult, but they are worth every effort.
My love for animals was instilled in me since childhood, growing up surrounded by many pets. At the age of 12, I became the proud owner of a Russian terrier puppy, Charlotte, whom I cared for and raised on my own. As an adult, I spent many years helping a shelter by caring for their pets, including bathing, cleaning eyes and ears, trimming nails, and walking. I have experience working with large and exotic breeds of dogs and cats.
